2004-08-02 around 7:14 p.m. Handfasting and garlic breath

Work wasn't too bad today. Mostly slow. The worst part of the day was dealing with this one old man. Tony, one of the guys who used to work at the store, had tried to buff out some scratches on the old man's lenses. Which Tony knows DOES NOT WORK. It only makes things worse. Which it did. So, we had to eat it and get the old man new lenses. Then he calls the next day and says he can't see out of his left lens. Gah.

So, I got to deal with him when he came in today. In the end it turned out his lens was a diopter off (don't ask me what that means, I don't know). So, we gotta remake that lens. Whee.

My car is, not leaking, more peeing on my feet and my passanger's feet when ever I'm driving and the a/c is on. It's done this before, but never so much. So, I need to take my car in sooner, rather than later. Blech.

Glad I went to see Elf-boy and his fairy lady in their handfasting ceremony. Very windy, but it felt really good. I'm still rather tired today from driving three hours there and then three hours back. Me=dead last night when I got home.

Burned the inside of my mouth a little when I ate lunch today. Probably from the potato stuff my daddy makes that's really yummy. I didn't get any last night, so I took some in to work. I also took breath mints, as my dad is very fond of using garlic in his cooking.
